Me
A bit more context
From the Sunshine Coast, to Montreal, to Melbourne
Born and raised in British Columbia, Canada, I moved to Montréal to pursue my Bachelor's degree in Commerce at Concordia University.
After finishing up my degree, I stayed in Montreal and worked as a Web Project Manager at a creative agency. Next, I was a Senior Studio Producer at a large e-commerce company.
I gained a lot of valuable skills and experience at both of these jobs, and got to work with a lot of inspiring, talented, and like-minded people.
My years in Montreal will always be cherished: it's such a lively city and visiting it will always remind me why I stayed there for 7 years!
Then, in 2024, I decided to move overseas, back to Melbourne. In university, I did a semester of exchange there, so I already knew that I loved it.
While living in Australia, my goal was to take a step back from the fast-paced jobs I was used to, and instead, focus on enjoying a working holiday for what it is: a chance to have a balance and flexibility in your lifestyle.
I worked in the hospitality industry at cafes, and ended up finding a hybrid role at a natural ice cream company, where I got to work with the leadership team on projects, marketing, and a little bit of operations.
I also ended up doing a stint of farm work! Not my first time farming, but it was something very different and an enriching experience nonetheless.
I had a wonderful two years in Australia, which was filled with trips to the Surf Coast, finding neighbourhood gems in the cushy Inner North, and traveling around the country.
I was ready to come home after a long time away, so I've relocated back to Canada's west coast, where I am now based. Moving forward, I'm looking forward to working with more small businesses and enjoying more time spent outside enjoying beautiful British Columbia.
